Breaking Anxiety at the Root

Peace Over Pressure
Anxiety is a real part of human experience-but it was never meant to dominate the life of a believer.

“The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.”
 Romans 8:6

Anxiety often comes when we are:
•        trying to control outcomes
•        overwhelmed by uncertainty
•        disconnected from the leading of the Spirit

Left unchecked, it creates:
•        inner unrest
•        mental fatigue
•        emotional instability
Understanding the Root
Anxiety is not just emotional-it is often spiritual misalignment.
When the mind is focused on:
•        fear
•        pressure
•        uncertainty
Peace becomes difficult to sustain.

The Role of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit brings alignment.

“Do not be anxious about anything… and the peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds.”
-Philippians 4:6–7

He does not always remove the situation-but He transforms your inner state.

How to Respond
When anxiety rises, don’t ignore it -redirect it.
Say:
“Holy Spirit, I yield this to You.
I refuse to carry what You have not given me.”  Then pause.
Let your mind settle.

Final Thought
You are not designed to live under pressure.
You are designed to live under the governance of the Spirit.

Prayer
Father,
I release every anxiety and pressure to You.
Teach me to align my mind with Your Spirit.
Let Your peace guard my heart and mind today.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
