You Are Now God's Temple
Scripture
1 Corinthians 3:16
"Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst?"

Reflection
When Jesus died on the cross, everything changed.
At the moment of His death, the veil in the Temple was torn from top to bottom. The barrier that once separated humanity from the presence of God was removed.
Through Christ, every believer was given direct access to the Father.
But God did something even greater than simply giving us access to His presence.
He chose to place His presence within us.
Today, the Holy Spirit no longer dwells in a building made by human hands.
He lives within every believer.
That means wherever you go, the presence of God goes with you.
You carry His presence into your home.
You carry His presence into your workplace.
You carry His presence into your family.
You carry His presence into your community.
This changes the way we see ourselves.
We are not ordinary people trying to occasionally experience God.
We are His dwelling place.
Every conversation, every decision, every act of kindness, and every moment of obedience becomes an opportunity for God's presence to be revealed through us.
The same God whose glory filled Solomon's Temple has now chosen to make His home within His people.
What an incredible privilege.
