Living in Sustained Peace
Peace as a Lifestyle
Peace is not meant to be occasional-it is meant to be your way of life.
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts…”
Colossians 3:15
The word “rule” means to govern.
This means:
peace should be the final authority in your heart.
Sustaining Peace Daily
Peace is sustained through:
• consistent fellowship with the Holy Spirit
• aligning your thoughts with God’s Word
• yielding your emotions to His leading
It is not automatic—it is cultivated.
The Role of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit maintains your internal environment.
He:
• calms your thoughts
• stabilizes your emotions
• strengthens your trust in God
Your Responsibility, you must choose to:
• stay connected
• guard your mind
• remain yielded
Study Texts
• Colossians 3:15
• Isaiah 26:3
• Romans 8:14–16
• John 14:27
• Psalm 23
Final Thoughts
Peace is not something you visit.
It is where you live when the Spirit governs your life.
Prayer
Father,
Let Your peace rule in my heart daily.
Teach me to remain in step with Your Spirit.
Help me to live from a place of stability and trust.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
